You know, I really wish there would have been some kind of explanation of why Sam didn't continue to use the hand device on missions. I mean shoot, even that personal shield would have been pretty useful... if not the hand blast... I don't imagine she'd use the torture part of it.... huh.gif

I always wondered why they never really used that aspect of Sam having been a To'Kra. The same can be said for season 8,

I thought this was a good episode. But then I love most of the shows in season 1-4. I especially loved jack's comment, "If I wake up singing soprano." wink.gif

This episode was pretty cool, I have to admit I laughed out loud when teal'c told his "Jaffa Joke", it was just funny to see everyone's reactions. biggrin.gif I also like how Sam has the ability to use the Goa'uld hand device...not sure what it's called, but that thing rocks. Hopefully she uses it and other goa'uld technology in the future. Overall this episode was pretty sweet, so far a good start to season 3.

It's called a Ribbon Device, basically because it looks like a ribbon.

This Episode was very clever, putting a modern look on an ancient foe.
This kind of thing does happen around the world unfortently.

I thought this episode was very interesting. It was good to hear Teal'c laugh for the first time ever because that was very unexpected and the look on everybody elses faces afterwards. You can tell Jacob/Selmak was trying to follow the joke as he did a little head nod there biggrin.gif

But maybe instead of killing Seth, they could have taken him prisoner and beat some info out of him without Sokar banging at the door. They could learn alot about them. But maybe getting the information too early in the show would mean a quicker ending for the Goa'ulds meaning a quicker ending to the show wink.gif

Wow, I never noticed that. Now I'm going to have to go back and watch the episode to see for myself. Oh, what an arduous task, but someone has to do it. wink.gif

That's a great thing about going back to watch the older episodes. Years later, you might pick up on something you missed in the first thousand or so viewings. Awesome. laugh.gif

Best Line:
"So help me god, if I wake up singing soprano." biggrin.gif

Best Part
Teal'c's joke. Man I haven't laughed that hard in ages, not since I saw that "Stargate Cantina" Music video.
The teams reaction to the joke is precious especially Jack's: "There's a Jaffa joke?" w00t.gif

Worst Part:
Sam gooying to be a sex slave. I hate the scenes where women are put to that position... makes me very very angry. mad.gif
